Internal 1/4 bungee sewn into the perimeter of the cover, allowing the cover to be installed easily. The cover can be used mast up or mast down.  If your Hobie mast is supported by the rear crossbeam while in storage simply turn the cover around and the cut out in the cover will easily attach around the support.

The 5 buckle connections allow added security in case of a gale at your local marina. One buckle strap connection is at each of the four corners of the cover and one to go around the mast. The straps are sewn with loops on each side to allow the corners to be tied off in the unlikely event one of the heavy duty plastic buckles breaks.

In actuality the cover fits so well with the adjustable bungee sewn into the trampoline, (think fitted bed sheet) The buckles at the four corners are overkill which makes this a bomber cover that will stay on in a gale!

At the end of the day at your favorite regatta simply place all your sails, harnesses, and pfds on your trampoline and place your cover over your gear.  At one of  our local spots some friends leave there sails to dry under the cover in the storage lot.
